Lesson plans for November 9th-13th

Reminders: This is a busy week! We have parent/teacher conferences on Tuesday and Thursday from 4-8. I would greatly enjoy seeing you all so feel free to stop in for a chat! Also, we have an early out on Wednesday at 12:45. Tuesday is our Veteran's Day program at 9:30. Mid-term of second quarter is quickly approaching so keep an eye on those grades. Iowa Assessments are November 18 and 19. Please make sure your student comes to school ready for these tests.

English 7: Monday- students will have one new assignment in No Red Ink. They will take the quiz over this material on Friday. Students are highly encouraged to complete these exercises as they will help on the quiz. Students will be working on a Fakebook page profile on their favorite character. They will complete a Facebook-like template and also be writing a character analysis. This is a little different way to do a character analysis so we'll see how the kids like it. All information for this assignment is available through google classroom.
Tuesday- work day on character profile/analysis
Wednesday- work day on character profile/analysis
Thursday- character profile/analysis due; work day on No Red Ink exercises- quiz Friday
