Reminders: We have an early out on Wednesday at 12:45 for teacher in-service. There are only 2.5 weeks left of second quarter/first semester. Please keep an eye on grades and attendance.
English 7: Monday- Students have a new assignment in No Red Ink. We will take the quiz over this material on Friday. Poetry writing will be our focus for this week. Students will be writing several different types as we proceed through the week.
Tuesday- Poetry writing
Wednesday- Poetry writing
Thursday- Students will choose one of their pieces of poetry to present to the class
Friday- No Red Ink quiz and blogging activity
English 8: Monday- Students have a new assignment in No Red Ink. We will take the quiz over this material on Friday. Students will use the information they gathered last week on their freedom fighter and present a short informational speech to the class.
Tuesday- prepare for speech
Wednesday- prepare for speech/start presenting
Thursday- present speeches
Friday- No Red Ink quiz and continue work on autobiography
